Man Tas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Barrett came out and tried to block the shot, but Man Tas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Leopoldo Ixidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Henning Martinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Man Tas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Barrett. That made the score 3-0 in the 16 minute of play. Man Tas might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Barrett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Man Tas ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Man Tas tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Man Tas in the 25th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Man Tas made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 30th minute, Man Tas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Stanley Wallace fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Elizardo having to interfere. A hard shot 38 in the game by Man Tas from a close distance when the talented Bruno Barrett managed to make a qualified save. Curacao's players were relieved. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Curacao's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bogumil Spychalski was slow to take the kick. During this time Sarmiento de Resistencia's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Curacao's goalie and right to Arias Fabelo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Curacao's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Herrero made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Alex Herrero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Alex Herrero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Alex Herrero struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarmiento de Resistencia. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Alex Herrero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Alex Herrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Alex Herrero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Barrett was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Şafak Uysal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bertie Johnson in the 65 minute of the game. Bertie Johnson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Alex Herrero took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. If Alex Herrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Herrero in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Rocco Owen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Alex Herrero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sarmiento de Resistencia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Sarmiento de Resistencia made a substitution. Alonzo Peruxu replaced Bogumil Spychalski. After 78 minutes, Alex Herrero made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Troy Kennedy to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Herrero in the 83rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Alex Herrero sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Herrero went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Herrero's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
