Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alonso Snider got the match started through his kick off. In the 10th minute Alonso Snider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesar Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. San Antonio HotSPURS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Norino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Norino came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Donio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, San Antonio HotSPURS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leroy Vega to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 90th minute Micah Alston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute Micah Alston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by San Antonio HotSPURS's Micah Alston. But to his dismay, Micah Alston quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
