Sebastian Villa ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from Niklas Skålberg in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Axel Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Alvar Söderman. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Asserlindh in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Olof Jernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Martinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tommy Asserlindh was the one to do the kick off. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 55 minutes, Jan-Ove Lindmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Honduras booed when Sundens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cao Ting Ting didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 94th minute of play. The Sundens BK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
