Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Tzolis in the 29th minute of the match. Lowell FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christos Tzolis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Aleksander Tinglöf kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Tzolis in the 48th minute of play forced Lowell FC's goalkeeper Silviu Lung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half BK Södra were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Karim Bouteflika made the kick off in the second half. Rickard Örnberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silviu Lung could save by the left post. In the 57th minute of the match, Jonas Wenerdahl tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Silviu Lung saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Silviu Lung came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by BK Södra's Jonas Wenerdahl. But to his dismay, Jonas Wenerdahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Silviu Lung made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Wenerdahl in the 64th minute. Silviu Lung didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when BK Södra's Rickard Örnberg shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. 84 minutes into the match, Lowell FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Wenerdahl came free, but Silviu Lung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lowell FC booed when BK Södra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 played minutes BK Södra got a freekick which was hit by Eric Da Silva. After a rather tough play, BK Södra's Frank Josefsson got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded BK Södra left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lowell FC.
