E-xplosión Blue 8k's Pedro Ageitos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tytus Fink, made in the 7th minute of the game. When Ruslan Kudryavtsev came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Wigston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruslan Kudryavtsev couldn't finish the play. After 13 minutes of play, Wigston's Erubiel Chus made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zigor Lozares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erubiel Chus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Zigor Lozares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, E-xplosión Blue 8k's Mauro Prats got a free kick in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the E-xplosión Blue 8k defense, Erubiel Chus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zigor Lozares. The E-xplosión Blue 8k fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zigor Lozares should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, E-xplosión Blue 8k's goal looked a bit too open when Ruslan Kudryavtsev came free, but Zigor Lozares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes Wigston got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Lizbeth. 38 minutes into the match, Wigston's goal looked a bit too open when Valiente Trueba came free, but Claes Hedström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santiago Lizbeth made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by E-xplosión Blue 8k's Pedro Ageitos. Zigor Lozares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valiente Trueba was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the E-xplosión Blue 8k defense, Santiago Lizbeth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zigor Lozares. The E-xplosión Blue 8k fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zigor Lozares should have stopped the shot. Wigston's Claes Hedström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valiente Trueba in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to E-xplosión Blue 8k getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Mauro Prats hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, E-xplosión Blue 8k's Lucas Flamenco tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hector-Luis Renteria kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Valiente Trueba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Mauro Prats was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E-xplosión Blue 8k's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wigston the free kick. The supporters of Wigston booed when E-xplosión Blue 8k was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Prats didn't get a good kick on the ball.
