The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Quebracho FC's Alexander Van Houdtvinck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Makomaski in the 3rd minute of play. Alexander Van Houdtvinck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Bochinski in the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Cezary Makomaski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alexander Van Houdtvinck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quebracho FC's goalkeeper Alexander Van Houdtvinck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 25 minutes Quebracho FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filip Bochinski who took care of the corner kick. In the 30th match minute, Chivos de Punto Fijo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mannuel Ser to maneuver through the defense. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Dani Hernández played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Flores in the 36th minute of play. German Liher hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 43 minutes Chivos de Punto Fijo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yin Hong Fan who took care of the corner kick. 45 minutes into the game, Quebracho FC's Alessio Borrelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dani Hernández made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cezary Makomaski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dani Hernández made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Flores in the 57th minute of play. Gaston Botinos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. Chivos de Punto Fijo made a substitution. Juan Torrent replaced Narciso Gombal. Quebracho FC's Wouter De Brouwer was substituted for German Liher. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chivos de Punto Fijo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! In the 62nd minute, Yin Hong Fan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quebracho FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 64 minutes into the match, Chivos de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Borrelli came free, but Dani Hernández reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Juan Torrent was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Cezary Makomaski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alexander Van Houdtvinck came out and tried to block the shot, but Cezary Makomaski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 69th minute. Dani Hernández made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessio Borrelli in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Quebracho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Makomaski came free, but Alexander Van Houdtvinck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Alessio Borrelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dani Hernández. Chivos de Punto Fijo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessio Borrelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Äliqulu Vermäliyev hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the game, Alessio Borrelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Dani Hernández was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alexander Van Houdtvinck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezary Makomaski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dani Hernández prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Florian in the 96th minute of play forced Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Dani Hernández to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quebracho FC had won after a very even match.
