Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Eliseu Fonseca started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 6 played minutes Saiko FC got a freekick which was hit by Décio Dionísio. Saiko FC's Walmir Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. Décio Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Sabóia having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Zé Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Felix Montenegro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Jairo Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Zé Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 36 minutes Saiko FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Agustín Saelices drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind Saiko FC's goalkeeper. In the 44th minute, Mateus Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zé Sabóia quite easily take care of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Fonseca in the 59th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Saiko FC's Eliseu Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Garcia in the 64th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Sabóia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 65 minute of play. Jairo Trancoso hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Saiko FC's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Sabóia came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Garcia in the 74th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 75th minute of play. With a little luck, Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé Sabóia was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Agustín Saelices capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agustín Saelices really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Sabóia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Saiko FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-4 in the 87th playminute. When Décio Dionísio fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saiko FC's protests and gave Décio Dionísio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Décio Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Zé Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Saiko FC.
