Sten Andrejević did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Tony Dionísio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ROSÁRIO SPORT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 56 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Andrejević came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tony Dionísio's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 71st minute of the game Adalberto Xavier made a throw-in which Tony Dionísio played forward. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Corrêa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Tony Dionísio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ROSÁRIO SPORT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 87thth minute of the game Tony Dionísio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by ROSÁRIO SPORT's Tony Dionísio. But to his dismay, Tony Dionísio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 97 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas threw the ball into play from the sideline. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Ture Möllgren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. ROSÁRIO SPORT's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
