When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Mor Vidlák took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vidlákov SK's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yao Yang Peng came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Miroslav Pavel took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Pavel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yao Yang Peng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mor Vidlák, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Pavel in the 23rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johny Vidlák in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute Vidlákov SK were awarded a corner. Rodolfo Britto went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Vidlákov SK's Rodolfo Britto to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 60th minute of the match Miroslav Pavel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Yao Yang Peng made a huge save. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Yao Yang Peng when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 92nd minute Mor Vidlák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Vidlákov SK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
