The referee showed Dobromir Przebendowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Dobromir Przebendowski got a free kick in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the game, Moises Fernandino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tadeusz Dec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Abram Luque hit a great ball. Roman Pietrowiak's late challenge caught a El Salvador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 15thth minute of the game Moises Fernandino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Tadeusz Dec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korneliusz Opat in the 41st minute of the match. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Pietrowiak hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When Korneliusz Opat fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's protests and gave Korneliusz Opat a yellow card for diving instead. Korneliusz Opat kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. Tadeusz Dec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Luque in the 61st minute. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tadeusz Dec was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Moises Fernandino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 87 minute of play. Korneliusz Opat might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Korneliusz Opat ran back to his position shaking his head. 93 minutes into the match, Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Korneliusz Opat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Zorita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The El Salvador supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing El Salvador would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
