The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Piara Tittarelli was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 8th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Reconquistense FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lucas Seme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Seme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Reconquistense FC's Piara Tittarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piara Tittarelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Prospero Ledesma came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Reconquistense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Ledesma couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Reconquistense FC's Armindo Amado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Armindo Amado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Armindo Amado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Seme in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Reconquistense FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Lucas Seme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reconquistense FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Reconquistense FC's Arnulfo Gamus was substituted for Tomás Raphael. The supporters of Reconquistense FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reconquistense FC's Gustavo Ferran was substituted for Prospero Ledesma. After 72 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Iulian Boc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Jan Ahlqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute, Joshua Secada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Lucas Seme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Ahlqvist's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Piara Tittarelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Ahlqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Reconquistense FC fully deserved thier win.
