Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan Pablo Rodríguez was slow to take the kick. During this time Dromes FC's players had a chance to rest. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Humberto Lleir capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Humberto Lleir really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Lleir in the 25th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Humberto Lleir made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 29 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Lleir came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costa Rica's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Humberto Lleir 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. The referee showed Humberto Lleir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Ferrant got a throw-in 59 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lautaro Puig. After 64 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Humberto Lleir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Atilano Benat. Atilano Benat yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-1. Dromes FC made a substitution. Efraín Soler replaced Humberto Lleir. Dromes FC's attentive Jack Grealish managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efraín Soler in the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Dromes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dromes FC's Jack Grealish. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efraín Soler in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Efraín Soler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efraín Soler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1.
