Zjem Cię's Napoleon Jajko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Mexico booed when Zjem Cię was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olgierd Cempa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Jajko having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Zjem Cię was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olgierd Cempa to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Napoleon Jajko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Napoleon Jajko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 25th minute of play. Luca Rouco was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 29th minute, Zjem Cię's Mateo Palacio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Zjem Cię's Napoleon Jajko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 31st minute of play. When Zjem Cię's Mateo Palacio in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Zjem Cię made a substitution. Ciriaco Emenon replaced Tolek Wojtyna. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateo Palacio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Gaona got free with Napoleon Jajko in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Murillo Cedeno replaced Iwo Cwynar. 74 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Palacio came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Zjem Cię's Mateo Palacio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Leoz to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Napoleon Jajko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Zjem Cię got a freekick which was hit by Murillo Cedeno. In the 96th minute Mateo Palacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zjem Cię's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
