Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lázaro Chap made the kick off which started today's match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nunez Gizon in the 8th minute. Guaberto Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. Mainumby's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Costa Rica's corner Axel Tasis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Guaberto Cucao quite easily take care of the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Nunez Gizon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Serafo in the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Lázaro Chap scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Mainumby's Silvano Tiadoro got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Gonza came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Chap in the 37th minute of play. Adan Gonza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Lázaro Chap managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mainumby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Chap was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guaberto Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Puig in the 42nd minute of the match. Ladislao Serafo scored 3-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Mainumby's Francisco Dominic was substituted for Nunez Gizon. The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the game, Alan Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mainumby the free kick. The supporters of Mainumby booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Serafo came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Chap, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Ladislao Serafo notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Chap in the 79th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Mainumby's Amancio Intxixu got a free kick in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lázaro Chap in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goalkeeper Guaberto Cucao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Puig. After a rather tough play, Mainumby's Amancio Intxixu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Lázaro Chap blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Mainumby walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
