Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Enoch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 6 minutes into the match, union española s.a.'s Stig Malmgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11thth minute of the game Felix Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but union española s.a.'s Enrique Enoch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stig Malmgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 14th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Enoch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Malmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After 19 played minutes union española s.a. got a freekick which was hit by Stig Malmgren. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig Malmgren got free with Julio Vera in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Enrique Enoch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Enrique Enoch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play forced union española s.a.'s goalkeeper Enrique Enoch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Enoch came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the union española s.a. defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Enoch. The union española s.a. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Enoch should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute, Oriol Marmolejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stig Malmgren was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicens Espina in the 51st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Enoch made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 57 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Enrique Enoch managed to make a qualified save. union española s.a.'s players were relieved. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Malmgren in the 61st minute of the match. Enrique Enoch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Stig Malmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. With a little luck, union española s.a.'s Enrique Enoch got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stig Malmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Enrique Enoch in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Enrique Enoch made a huge save. Stig Malmgren scored 1-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute, Stig Malmgren made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 86 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Malmgren came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. union española s.a. were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fidel Bruggink took the corner. After 91 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Fidel Bruggink took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
