Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koti Kot in the 3rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Barciniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, Konrad Resel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Kudret Tüzer tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zhuang Tian Kun during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 50 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kudret Tüzer in the 51st minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Resel in the 54th minute of the match. Konrad Resel took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Resel in the 65th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Resel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Resel, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Arkadiusz Barciniak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Resel came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Thunderstorm Riders's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arkadiusz Barciniak came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Arkadiusz Barciniak threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 93 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita.
