Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Einar Carlsson during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Karen FC's Einar Carlsson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arvin Svanberg's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Karen FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun managed to reach the ball for a save. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arvin Svanberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Arvin Svanberg struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karen FC. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Zorita in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ma Yong Jun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ma Yong Jun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Slawomir Majak tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Lautaro Mancebo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ma Yong Jun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 41st minute of play. Ma Yong Jun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slawomir Majak in the 45th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Facundo Cadaval managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Facundo Cadaval was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Slawomir Majak made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Slawomir Majak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvin Svanberg in the 68th minute of play. Ma Yong Jun came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Karen FC made a substitution. Leo Öfverman replaced Seve Sevens. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Ma Yong Jun made a huge save. In the 83rd minute Bon Guidetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Karen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Öfverman to maneuver through the defense. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes in the game, Joel Gaona dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The supporters of Mexico booed when Karen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Estevez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico played a much better game than Karen FC and deserved their victory. The Karen FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
