Amadeo Jacob showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 14th match minute, Deportivo Ozz Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Cidro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 32nd minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walery Prosowski in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 36 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. In the 41st minute, Aureliano Neto made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Walery Prosowski took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliano Neto to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Walery Prosowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Ozz Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walery Prosowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walery Prosowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Walery Prosowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Walery Prosowski came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo Jacob hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Deportivo Ozz Fútbol Club were the better team. Deportivo Ozz Fútbol Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
