Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zorko Quack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 33 minutes, Mieszko Jarmulowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EngTULIO&Tupipano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mieszko Jarmulowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, EngTULIO&Tupipano's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mieszko Jarmulowicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 38 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iuri Andrade who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Zorko Quack didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After having played for 43 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

EngTULIO&Tupipano's Alvise Ferraresi was substituted for Guillermo Quintana. Mieszko Jarmulowicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mieszko Jarmulowicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mieszko Jarmulowicz in the 53rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Zorko Quack made a huge save. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 67th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Mieszko Jarmulowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to EngTULIO&Tupipano getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Wanderson Sabóia hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mieszko Jarmulowicz in the 80th minute of play. Mieszko Jarmulowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 86th minute. Mieszko Jarmulowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Mieszko Jarmulowicz made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.
