Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaime Pardo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Paraguay's attentive Alan Campos managed to snatch the ball when Ernst Asmundsson made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. When Ted Nyman fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KD Stiger's protests and gave Ted Nyman a yellow card for diving instead. Ted Nyman hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Jaime Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 minutes, Arvin Falck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KD Stiger and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Paraguay. Jaime Pardo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benjamin Blixt. 0-1. 24 minutes into the game, Ernst Asmundsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KD Stiger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. The supporters of Paraguay booed when KD Stiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Asmundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, KD Stiger's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Covarrubias came free, but Benjamin Blixt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Olofsson in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Hector Covarrubias. 38 minutes into the game, Alan Campos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KD Stiger the free kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Georg Danielsson made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Xavier Zoido. If Ulf Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Blixt made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Hector Covarrubias sent off a good shot on target. Benjamin Stark's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Stark helped the player get up and apologised. Benjamin Stark hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Vilgot Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Benjamin Stark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Hector Covarrubias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Hector Covarrubias came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Covarrubias couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the game, KD Stiger's Ulf Olofsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Ulf Olofsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Ulf Olofsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to KD Stiger getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Georg Danielsson hit a great ball. When Benjamin Stark was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, KD Stiger's Benjamin Stark got a free kick in the 79th minute. Jaime Pardo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benjamin Blixt. KD Stiger's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Vilgot Sandberg came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Vilgot Sandberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KD Stiger fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Xavier Zoido charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xavier Zoido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paraguay were furious when Iker Tafalla was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 89 minutes into the game, one of Paraguay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jacobo Nores had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Georg Danielsson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Many of Paraguay's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Paraguay may have spent more time on the ball, but KD Stiger were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
