After 44 played minutes Evelio Errolan rounded Venezuela's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Evelio Errolans short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute Åke Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Errolan in the 93rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Gaitano struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PARNASOVFC. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
