Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emiliano Lesardo kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd play minute Ove Lekberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcos Cotilla. 1-0. Emiliano Lesardo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 7th playminute. Bambang Sagala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 23rd minute of play. Estudiantes de Merida FC's Afonso Naveda quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jose Carita, made in the 25th minute of the game. After 25 minutes of play, Estudiantes de Merida FC's Ove Lekberg made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Estudiantes de Merida FC's Bambang Sagala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 28th minute of play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Miguel Miralles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bambang Sagala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Emiliano Lesardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Lesardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. If Emiliano Lesardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Lesardo in the 39th minute of the match. Panama's attack was well implemented in the 40th minute, but when Isidoro Sarmiento was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Emiliano Lesardo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Bambang Sagala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 44th minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Lesardo in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Lesardo in the 54th minute of the match. Estudiantes de Merida FC's Bambang Sagala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 56th minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match Panama got a corner. Estudiantes de Merida FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Jose Carita heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estudiantes de Merida FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Bambang Sagala in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Lesardo in the 72nd minute of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bambang Sagala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Cambeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Bambang Sagala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Miguel Miralles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
