Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Peru's Joaquin Prats was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Haji Sarap in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geovanildo Luis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After 12 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomás Reis who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Joinville City - FSCMZ's Tomás Reis to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alonso Berganza got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Moises Gayoso. Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Geovanildo Luis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joinville City - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovanildo Luis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haji Sarap. Haji Sarap dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Milagros Fraga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haji Sarap having to make a save. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Drew Zaelani in the 38 minute of the game. In the 41st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haji Sarap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luz Tejedor in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haji Sarap prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Joinville City - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Mbaka N'Diaye hit a great ball. After 55 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Alonso Berganza. If Geovanildo Luis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanildo Luis in the 66th minute of the match. Mbaka N'Diaye kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. Luo Peng Ao replaced Ronaldinho Gaucho. After 68 played minutes Joinville City - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Mbaka N'Diaye. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Haji Sarap made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Abraão in the 77th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joinville City - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomás Reis took the corner. Luo Peng Ao was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 86th minute, Milagros Fraga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adhemar Santos scored 1-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Peru failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
