Dário Barral showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iwan Banaszak. £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Iwan Banaszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Fábio Messias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Iwan Banaszak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aníbal Cerezo made in the 19th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Zebastian Hurtig however managed to control. 22 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Iwan Banaszak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cecilio Fliz spun around in front of the goal 29 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Peru's goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 32nd minute of play forced £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™'s goalkeeper Iwan Banaszak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Peru got a corner. £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iwan Banaszak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 37 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cecilio Fliz. Aníbal Cerezo made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fábio Messias immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zebastian Hurtig in the 39th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46 played minutes £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™ got a freekick which was hit by Dário Barral. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Messias in the 53rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwan Banaszak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Cecilio Fliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Luz Tejedor came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luz Tejedor couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™'s goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Iwan Banaszak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonso Berganza hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™'s Damian Diegotxe was substituted for Hernani Capixaba. In the 70th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Berganza to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™'s goalkeeper Iwan Banaszak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luz Tejedor. Iwan Banaszak came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Diegotxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Gallo got free with Iwan Banaszak in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damian Diegotxe kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Iwan Banaszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Roberto Dinamite cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 98 minutes into the match, Roberto Dinamite notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
