The corner ended in Luca Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ALMA GUERREIRA's Cauan Carvalho did a great save. 13 minutes into the match, ALMA GUERREIRA's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Cauan Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cauan Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute of play forced ALMA GUERREIRA's goalkeeper Cauan Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lasse Delvig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José San Martín's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. ALMA GUERREIRA's Cauan Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 35th minute of play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Lasse Delvig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. The supporters of ALMA GUERREIRA booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delfim Araújo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lasse Delvig stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, ALMA GUERREIRA's Cauan Carvalho got control of the ball when Joel Gaona tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If José San Martín had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauan Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 64th minute of play. If Delfim Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. ALMA GUERREIRA's Cauan Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 69th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Araújo came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Cauan Carvalho made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Lasse Delvig came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cauan Carvalho came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cauan Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
