Alejandro Jerano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gonzalo Regis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Lorenzo Yepes hit a great ball. Kalessin's Arsenio Urdin got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Suárez in the 16th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonel Hunfredo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. Lautaro Suárezs short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Ricardo Zorita to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kalessin's goalkeeper Alejandro Jerano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Lautaro Suárez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kalessin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 35 minutes of play, Kalessin's Lautaro Suárez made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Suárez in the 40th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Lautaro Suárez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Suárez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Suárez in the 53rd minute of play. Lautaro Suárez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Suárez in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Lautaro Suárez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. Kalessin's Eduardo Chap was substituted for Omar Goizeder. 66 minutes into the match, Lautaro Suárez notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Arsenio Urdin scored 11-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abram Luque to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Kalessin players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
