Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th match minute, AC MiLaN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Jatsu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 14 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Jatsu in the 19th minute of play. With an all-out effort, AC MiLaN's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silvio Jatsu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Curea having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Alexandru Boșneag got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC MiLaN's goalkeeper Victor Curea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 29 minutes AC MiLaN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert to fire away a dangerous shot which Victor Curea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 35th minute, Silvio Jatsu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as AC MiLaN's Alexandru Boșneag slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 38 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emil Văcărescu was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute Silvio Jatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Victor Curea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 56 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Emil Văcărescu struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC MiLaN. After 59 played minutes AC MiLaN got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Boșneag. 60 minutes in the game, Tomas Illescas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Victor Curea having to interfere. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Curea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Văcărescu in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After having played for 65 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AC MiLaN's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Tomas Illescas scored to the left of an out of position Victor Curea, making the score, 3-1. The supporters of AC MiLaN booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorel Crăcană made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alexandru Boșneag. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvio Jatsu's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the AC MiLaN players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
