The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joe Camp was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Joe Camp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Joe Camp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaétan Bouchard. 1-0 became the score in the 22nd minute when Nicolas Hamard elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Hamard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joe Camp saved Cats and dogs from getting behind. Gaétan Bouchard came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Joe Camp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaétan Bouchard went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicolas Hamard was slow to take the kick. During this time Cats and dogs's players had a chance to rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaétan Bouchard was the one to do the kick off. If Nicolas Hamard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Hamard in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's Nicolas Hamard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaétan Bouchard struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cats and dogs. 64 minutes into the match, Gaétan Bouchard notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaétan Bouchard in the 67th minute of the match. Gaétan Bouchard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gaétan Bouchard came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Nicolas Hamard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cats and dogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Hamard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82ndth minute of the game Nicolas Hamard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Franklin Boch charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franklin Boch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cats and dogs's Franklin Boch got a free kick in the 84th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joe Camp. That made the score 3-1 after 88 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaétan Bouchard in the 94th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Hamard in the 95th minute of play.
