Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Aaron Alcocer fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Aaron Alcocer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 4th minute. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Gheorghe Nistorescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gheorghe Nistorescu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Bayrampaşa32spor booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute of the match, Mustafa Yaşar Toprak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Bayrampaşa32spor's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nazil Adaş came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the game, Şamil Özdilek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Şamil Özdilek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Alan Moruga's late challenge caught a Bayrampaşa32spor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Bayrampaşa32spor's Abdulkadir Özgenay broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amos Cocca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amos Cocca scored 3-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. Benito Sanz had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Celso Valonga's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celso Valonga went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Mustafa Yaşar Toprak sent off a good shot on target. After 47 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Abdulkadir Özgenay has a good long shot, which he once again showed in the 48th minute of the match. Unfortunately the ball hit the outside of the left post. Gheorghe Nistorescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Gheorghe Nistorescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Valonga came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Celso Valonga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celso Valonga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Gheorghe Nistorescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Nistorescu in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Valonga in the 88th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Valonga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
