A throw-in in the 17th minute of the game was made by Carmichael Cridland with Brecht Dheedene as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brecht Dheedene in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorenzo Beckman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Brecht Dheedene sped through Dragons AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lorenzo Beckman. Brecht Dheedene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dragons AFC's Lorenzo Beckman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xaime Urrechua in the 28th minute of play. Lorenzo Beckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xaime Urrechua in the 31st minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Cimarrones F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jo-Wilfried Schouten came free, but Themba Takane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dragons AFC's Lorenzo Beckman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Dragons AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xaime Urrechua in the 42nd minute of play forced Dragons AFC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Beckman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brecht Dheedene was the one to do the kick off. Prime Hock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Themba Takane made a huge save. When Xaime Urrechua came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Cimarrones F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xaime Urrechua couldn't finish the play. Lorenzo Beckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Giacchetti in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Dragons AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Justino Santos hit a great ball. The supporters of Cimarrones F.C. booed when Dragons AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute Brecht Dheedene shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Beckman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cimarrones F.C. made a substitution. Natalio Nazario replaced Demetrio Giacchetti. In the 75th minute Cimarrones F.C. were awarded a corner. Carmichael Cridland went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Cimarrones F.C.'s Taniel Kips getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 79th minute Natalio Nazario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Beckman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brecht Dheedene in the 80th minute of play forced Dragons AFC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Beckman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Sigali hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Brecht Dheedene managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cimarrones F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Brecht Dheedene was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute Prime Hock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themba Takane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenzo Beckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Nazario, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Prime Hock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Dragons AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Nazario came free, but Lorenzo Beckman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 97 minutes Dragons AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carmichael Cridland who took care of the corner kick. Cimarrones F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
