Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garth Brough ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th play minute Garth Brough came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. 1-0. When Jorge Sainz fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Jorge Sainz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jorge Sainz got a free kick in the 12th minute. Garth Brough's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joaquin Gayoso firmly grabbed it by the left post. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough. But to his dismay, Garth Brough quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Garth Broughs short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Garth Brough got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brown Haslett to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Australian Youth Academy booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Garth Brough got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Joaquin Gayoso was a little too slow when Garth Brough got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 3-0. Jorge Sainz kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Garth Brough could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. In the 41st minute of the game Jorge Sainz made a throw-in which Camilo Franco played forward. Garth Brough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Garth Brough tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Garth Brough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garth Brough in the 58th minute of the match. In the 61stth minute of the game Garth Brough who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Garth Brough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After taking down the ball on Australian Youth Academy's corner Cesar Cornelius fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joaquin Gayoso quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Australian Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brown Haslett didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Garth Brough's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 77th minute, Garth Brough left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Australian Youth Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. The throw-in from Arturo Carvallo in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Australian Youth Academy's Cesar Cornelius. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Arturo Carvallo hit a great ball. After 87 minutes of play, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute, Garth Brough made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garth Brough went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score.
