After 4 minutes, Shi Ke Shu made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Shi Ke Shu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 7 minute of play. With an all-out effort, ФК Фанагория's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Shi Ke Shu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind ФК Фанагория's goalkeeper Diamantino Nunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Diamantino Nunes came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The supporters of ФК Фанагория booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brent-Jan Turpin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Diamantino Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shi Ke Shu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. But to his dismay, Shi Ke Shu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 47 minutes into the game, Shi Ke Shu lined in a short shot 5-1 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant.
In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oleg Borgovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The ФК Фанагория fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when ФК Фанагория's Brent-Jan Turpin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. In the 72nd minute Brent-Jan Turpin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Alex Chicote was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ФК Фанагория the free kick. After 74 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. In the 77th minute Brent-Jan Turpin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Bergamini made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. Brent-Jan Turpin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute, Oleg Borgovski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. 95 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Brent-Jan Turpin came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Ke Shu in the 97th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shi Ke Shu in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ФК Фанагория had played much better football throughout.
