Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Torbjörn Tingberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Vallentuna Kickers's Li Han played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play. Börge Hybbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Camilo Gisbert made in the 19th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luis Andino however managed to control. Li Han took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Gisbert made in the 22nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luis Andino. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Tingberg in the 24th minute of play. Torbjörn Tingberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to a score. 0-1 in the 29th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Tingberg in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play forced Vallentuna Kickers's goalkeeper Li Han to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Vallentuna Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Lindgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Li Han took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Tingberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Tingberg in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Torbjörn Tingberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Torbjörn Tingberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Vallentuna Kickers's goalkeeper Li Han had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 64th minute of the match Vallentuna Kickers got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joachim Lindgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vallentuna Kickers! Li Han was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute of play forced Vallentuna Kickers's goalkeeper Li Han to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Li Han in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börge Hybbert in the 87th minute of play. Li Han took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vallentuna Kickers made a substitution. Gunnar Nordlander replaced Torbjörn Tingberg. In the 94th minute, Agustín Saelices fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ecuador played a much better game than Vallentuna Kickers and deserved their victory. The Vallentuna Kickers players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
