Chile's Jose Manzanedo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Matheus Munhoz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Matheus Munhoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Lindner F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Chile fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Chile's Mariano Lacasa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Harald Keane sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Keane, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Hugon Rzeszutek hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Lindner F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Matheus Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Lindner F.C getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Hugon Rzeszutek hit a great ball. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Keane in the 76th minute of play. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Matheus Munhoz in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lindner F.C's Matheus Munhoz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Lindner F.C from getting a goal against them. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gelu Roșeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Keane in the 91st minute of play.
