FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Niculae Rădvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 29th minute of play. Niculae Rădvan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 33rd minute of play forced FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Niculae Rădvan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Teodoroiu in the 34th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Rădvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Axel Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

After some careless play in the FC PIETROSUL -MM- defense, Abram Secada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niculae Rădvan. The FC PIETROSUL -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niculae Rădvan should have stopped the shot. When Samuel Navarro fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombia's protests and gave Samuel Navarro a yellow card for diving instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC PIETROSUL -MM-.
