Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ulises Costa kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Juan Carlos Messi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Omar Falleto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Los Podridos ll's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filiberto Erramu in the 14th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Ulises Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Liher in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Podridos ll's Omar Falleto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Daniel Zorita, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 25 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Omar Falleto was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Los Podridos ll's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Omar Falleto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of play forced Los Podridos ll's goalkeeper Omar Falleto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Costa in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 34 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filiberto Erramu who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Eduardo Liher managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Los Podridos ll's Omar Falleto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 38th minute of play. When Los Podridos ll's Eduardo Liher in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Los Podridos ll's Omar Falleto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play. Los Podridos ll's Hugo Iratze quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Andino, made in the 46th minute of the game. In the 47th minute Ulises Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Los Podridos ll's Omar Falleto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Los Podridos ll from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Omar Falleto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Liher came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Ulises Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Omar Falleto made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Omar Falleto to make any attempt to save it. In the 77th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Filiberto Erramu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fulgencio Bilintx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Dunixi in the 89th minute of the match. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 92 minutes of play, Los Podridos ll's Leandro Dunixi made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Los Podridos ll succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
