Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sonny Karlberg started the match with the kick off. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Anselius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vejbystrand's Sonny Karlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sonny Karlberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sonny Karlberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 19th playminute. 23 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand's Sonny Karlberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Sonny Karlberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Vejbystrand's Sonny Karlberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sonny Karlberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Sonny Karlberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 4-0 in the 33 minute of play. Joachim Anselius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sonny Karlberg got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 龙挺卫 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

Vejbystrand made a substitution. Sílvio Luís Faria replaced Sonny Karlberg. Vejbystrand's Harald Ennegren was substituted for Joachim Anselius. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. Harald Ennegren might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harald Ennegren ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harald Ennegren in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Bernt Nordlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Gisbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 龙挺卫 having to interfere. Arturo Carvallo made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vejbystrand's David Rosendahl. After 66 minutes of play, Vejbystrand's Harald Ennegren made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 龙挺卫 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 70th minute. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Harald Ennegren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Harald Ennegren made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. In the 82nd minute of the match Vejbystrand got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lars Bergqvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Lars Bergqvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso did a great save. In the 87th minute, Harald Ennegren made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. Bernt Nordlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernt Nordlund ran back to his position shaking his head. If Sílvio Luís Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vejbystrand had won after a very even match.
