In the 36th match minute, Isótopos V.M. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaw Jaraczeski to maneuver through the defense. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Pedro Domingues took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Thiago Pliego to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Isótopos V.M.'s Gustaw Jaraczeski got a free kick in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 44th minute of play forced Isótopos V.M.'s goalkeeper Ignacio Di Stasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
