The supporters of Bolivia booed when FC Kurdish Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthon Svanér didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Fernandino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wictor Hagström. FC Kurdish Warriors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. When Timmy Hasselqvist fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kurdish Warriors's protests and gave Timmy Hasselqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that FC Kurdish Warriors were the better team. FC Kurdish Warriors's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
