In the 6th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Breckenfeld in the 7th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Hulk Fenomeno made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Valério Queirós hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Fernandinho Botelho got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Edmundo Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Edmundo Valle got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Melquiades Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Genko Balevski to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Genko Balevski made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonardo Leoz made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor managed to reach the ball for a save. Melquiades Amor made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Melquiades Amor could save by the left post. If Genko Balevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hulk Fenomeno to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 69 minutes CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. 79 minutes into the match, Genko Balevski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Genko Balevski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 85 minutes, Genko Balevski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genko Balevski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Thorvaldsson in the 86th minute of the match. Melquiades Amor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 90th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA were victorious despite being under pressure from Mexico for much of the match.
