In the 44thth minute of the game Junior Quintana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Junior Quintana in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 45 minutes into the game, Erwann Patrice cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Cosa nostra Lyon's Junior Quintana made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mehmet Çağrı Hadi made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dinaras Stanaitis however managed to control. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwann Patrice in the 90th minute of play. When Cosa nostra Lyon's Erwann Patrice in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cosa nostra Lyon fully deserved thier win.
