Mora Liebana showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. A sloppy throw-in by Urritz Martiniana in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano. Paraguay's attentive Xavier Zoido managed to snatch the ball when Urritz Martiniana made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Putte von der Putten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when German Fias made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Mora Liebana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Mora Liebana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Putte von der Putten struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DALO S.C.. In the 58th minute, German Fias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DALO S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Fausto Respaldizar hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Urritz Martiniana made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Jaime Pardo. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Fias in the 71st minute of play. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Fias, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, German Fias made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mora Liebana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes Paraguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was León Careaga who took care of the corner kick. Putte von der Putten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 minutes of play, DALO S.C.'s German Fias made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute German Fias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Rui Figueiras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Paraguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
