Julian Murillo scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boleslaw Ruszczyk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Peru booed when Victoria Przyborów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Dytrych didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Semavi Polat in the 14th minute of the match. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boleslaw Ruszczyk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Semavi Polat in the 20th minute. In the 28th minute, Semavi Polat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victoria Przyborów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 32nd minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boleslaw Ruszczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boleslaw Ruszczyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luz Tejedor's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boleslaw Ruszczyk was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boleslaw Ruszczyk saved Victoria Przyborów from getting behind. Boleslaw Ruszczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 42nd minute of play. After 42 minutes, Milagros Fraga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peru and the Victoria Przyborów players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Milagros Fraga hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Emmanuel Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Semavi Polat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Semavi Polat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Boleslaw Ruszczyk made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Boleslaw Ruszczyk in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Boleslaw Ruszczyk, 1-2. Victoria Przyborów made a substitution. Borys Grabowicz replaced Damian Sienkowski. A sloppy throw-in by Moises Gayoso in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Victoria Przyborów's Victor Pavel. With a little luck, Victoria Przyborów's Boleslaw Ruszczyk got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boleslaw Ruszczyk was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Julian Murillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Murillo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 82nd minute Dariusz Ludwa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boleslaw Ruszczyk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luz Tejedor went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Rafael Gallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Ruszczyk having to interfere. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Ludwa in the 96th minute of the match. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
