Stanley Wallace received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Viggo Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marieholm's Viggo Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Davies in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Säf in the 18th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Marieholm booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Troy Kennedy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronny Vedholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Ronny Vedholm who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Bruno Barrett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronny Vedholm in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Ronny Vedholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Marieholm's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Davies came free, but Viggo Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viggo Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanley Wallace in the 32nd minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Hubert Säf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marieholm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curacao the free kick. In the 39th match minute, Marieholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Säf to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Säf in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Hubert Säf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 62 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Vedholm came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Säf in the 67th minute of the match. Viggo Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Davies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marieholm's Hubert Säf got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stanley Wallace hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Vedholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Kyle Davies got a free kick in the 91st minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Marieholm fully deserved thier win.
