When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Gasso in the 58th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jorge Magrina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eder Mangas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Jesus Carvallo's late challenge caught a Real Armal F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Carvallo helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Carvallo. Jesus Carvallo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes, Real Armal F.C.'s Sagrario Cruz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Armal F.C. reached it. Dionisio Figueres didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. After 84 minutes of play, El Salvador's Marco Tamayo made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eder Mangas went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Abram Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Salvador were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Real Armal F.C.'s much stronger midfield.
