Danilo Mannuel came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Mannuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Mannuel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Danilo Mannuel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. StardustRevolution's attentive Everardo Peyo managed to snatch the ball when Salvador Gisbert made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. 28 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave StardustRevolution the free kick. The supporters of StardustRevolution booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. StardustRevolution's Bernardino Servando got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Guillermo Mariano notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of StardustRevolution's Danilo Mannuel. Danilo Mannuel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. StardustRevolution's Everardo Peyo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Salvador Gisbert in the 41 minute of the game. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardino Servando made a kick off. Danilo Mannuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 55th minute of the match. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after StardustRevolution's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. At last the ball reached Camilo Gaos at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of StardustRevolution. 0-4. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Danilo Mannuel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Tomas Illescas in the 62nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Danilo Mannuel kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Bernardino Servando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Mannuel was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Patricio Costa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patricio Costa really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. 76 minutes into the match, StardustRevolution's goalkeeper Danilo Mannuel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Everardo Peyo's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Everardo Peyo helped the player get up and apologised. Everardo Peyo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danilo Mannuel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. After having played for 89 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 90 played minutes StardustRevolution got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Peyo. StardustRevolution's Danilo Mannuel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save StardustRevolution from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 94th minute.
