Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) SE Palmeiras's Abelardo Medeiros started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Espinar in the 3rd minute of play forced SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Will Muralhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SE Palmeiras's Christiano Baiano got a free kick in the 8th minute. SE Palmeiras's Will Muralhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 9th minute of play. Will Muralhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 12th minute of play. If Abelardo Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SE Palmeiras's Will Muralhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Dito Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Abelardo Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes SE Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Dito Donatello. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Will Muralhas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Natanael Paraense in the 38 minute of the game. Will Muralhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes, Ian Cerezo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SE Palmeiras and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christiano Baiano hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Will Muralhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Abelardo Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 63rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Edmundo Espiga had several of the SE Palmeiras's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Will Muralhas as he didn't even see the shot coming. Oswaldo Godoi hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the game, Natanael Paraense threw the ball into play from the sideline.
