Will Muralhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 20th minute of the match. Will Muralhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Will Muralhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 26th minute of play. Christiano Baiano hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 27th minute of play forced SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Will Muralhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Will Muralhas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tomas Berganza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Will Muralhas having to make a save. Will Muralhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 50 minutes, Roberto Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SE Palmeiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Will Muralhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Miralles, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Will Muralhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Will Muralhas made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Medeiros in the 63rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Berganza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Will Muralhas. That made the score 0-3 in the 67 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Sarmiento got free with Will Muralhas in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Will Muralhas. Will Muralhas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After 78 minutes, Roberto Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SE Palmeiras and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SE Palmeiras's Roberto Andrade got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Will Muralhas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Will Muralhas came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Isidoro Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Will Muralhas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 86th minute. Will Muralhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Miralles in the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Will Muralhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Will Muralhas. The goal made the score 0-7. The SE Palmeiras fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
