An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 4th minute of play forced Altos Gatos FC's goalkeeper Christian Kiliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Kiliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alonso Berganza made in the 9th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Moises Gayoso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of play forced Altos Gatos FC's goalkeeper Christian Kiliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes, Julian Murillo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Altos Gatos FC's Christian Kiliz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute Javier Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. 51 minutes in the game Faustino Orlo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bonifacio Olle. Altos Gatos FC's Christian Kiliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 56th minute of play. Altos Gatos FC's Milosz Majczyk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Moises Gayoso, made in the 57th minute of the game. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Alonso Berganza hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Carolo Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 70th minute of play forced Altos Gatos FC's goalkeeper Christian Kiliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milagros Fraga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christian Kiliz firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Abancens in the 74th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Christian Kiliz made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Antonio Tenorio sent off a good shot on target. Christian Kiliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes of play, Altos Gatos FC's Carolo Abancens made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Abancens in the 95th minute of play. The Altos Gatos FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
