Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ivan Copil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Irvine Marcello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Irvine Marcello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Irvine Marcello managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Martin de Tucuman's supporters rose to their feet, but Irvine Marcello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 13 minutes of play, San Martin de Tucuman's Irvine Marcello made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Irvine Marcello went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. After 20 minutes, Eriberto Osasun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Martin de Tucuman and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eriberto Osasun kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Lamberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Copil in the 27th minute. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by San Martin de Tucuman's Irvine Marcello. But to his dismay, Irvine Marcello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 33 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Irvine Marcello. In the 34th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of San Martin de Tucuman booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Irvine Marcello sent off a good shot on target. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by San Martin de Tucuman's Irvine Marcello. But to his dismay, Irvine Marcello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Irvine Marcello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Irvine Marcello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Bartolo Harkaitz in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Copil, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irvine Marcello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Irvine Marcello in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. San Martin de Tucuman's Severino Elorri was substituted for Ulises Dominguez. Hector Covarrubias hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When San Martin de Tucuman's Irvine Marcello in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Irvine Marcello sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. After having played for 66 minutes, Irvine Marcello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Martin de Tucuman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Irvine Marcello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Alan Campos. Paulino Lamberto, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by San Martin de Tucuman's Irvine Marcello. But to his dismay, Irvine Marcello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Irvine Marcello in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irvine Marcello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When San Martin de Tucuman's Irvine Marcello in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. Jose Sanz charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Sanz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jose Sanz kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Jose Sanz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Marcial Munio notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paraguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for San Martin de Tucuman.
